According to Marcus Morris’ former teammate Patrick Beverley, Morris is strongly considering joining the Minnesota Timberwolves for the remainder of this season. Morris was part of a three-team trade at the deadline, moving to the San Antonio Spurs while Buddy Hield went to the Philadelphia 76ers from the Indiana Pacers.
Although Morris is expected to negotiate a buyout with the Spurs, no agreement has been finalized yet. Once the buyout is settled, Morris will be eligible to join the Timberwolves.
