The Las Vegas Raiders entered the 2024 NFL season with renewed optimism for a playoff run. The Raiders made significant changes over the offseason, appointing Tom Telesco as general manager and Antonio Pierce as head coach.
Under Pierce’s leadership, the team has achieved a 2-2 record in the early part of the 2024 NFL season. They now face the Denver Broncos on the road in Week 5 with a chance to go above .500.
Despite their record, quarterback play, primarily by Gardner Minshew, has been inconsistent. Recently, team owner Mark Davis had a meeting with Shedeur Sanders, where he expressed interest and stated, “I’ve watched all your games.”
Davis and Sanders met during Game 3 of the WNBA playoff series between the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces. Davis is determined to bring another Super Bowl title to the Raiders, indicating the importance of having a top quarterback. While the Raiders didn’t draft a quarterback in 2024, they may target one next offseason, possibly Sanders.
