Marquise Brown, Nico Collins, and Noah Brown Impacting Week 15 Rankings

In the fantasy football playoffs, you need wide receivers who are capable of having a big game. When healthy, guys such as Marquise Brown, Nico Collins, and Noah Brown have all shown they are capable of having a big game throughout their careers.

The issue with these guys this week is that they are dealing with injuries. What is each of these guys’ status moving toward their Week 15 games?

Let’s take a look at the fantasy injury updates for these three receivers who could be difference-makers in the fantasy playoffs.

Latest News and Injury Updates Impacting Fantasy

Marquise Brown, WR, Cardinals

Marquise Brown was injured in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago, and he finished with zero catches on three targets. Fortunately, the Arizona Cardinals had an extremely late bye to their season, as they were off last week.

That allowed Brown to get some extra rest for his heel injury, and he was able to practice on Friday. The fact that he practiced on Friday is a pretty good sign that he is going to go, as the Cardinals have a very difficult matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

In their matchup earlier in the season, Brown had a big-time game. He had seven catches for 96 yards, and he was targeted 10 times. His quarterback that day was Joshua Dobbs, but now, he has his former college quarterback Kyler Murray.

The 49ers are very good and look like the best team in the NFL, but I am going to say Brown is healthy, plays, and has another big game in this matchup. Make sure he doesn’t have any setbacks, but Brown is going to influence the fantasy playoffs.

Nico Collins, WR, Texans

Collins has been incredible this year for the Houston Texans, as he recently became just the fourth receiver in the team’s history to generate 1,000 yards in a season. The other three are DeAndre Hopkins, Brandin Cooks, and Andre Johnson. While he is having a spectacular season, he was injured in the game against the New York Jets last Sunday.

Collins has been listed as questionable for the entire week, and there is a little bit of optimism that he may be able to go in this game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

While Collins’ status is still unknown, the status of his quarterback C.J. Stroud is equally as important to the potential fantasy day Collins could have. Stroud is currently doubtful, as he is in the league’s concussion protocol. While doubtful implies that he most likely won’t play, the protocol is a little different. If he passes all the tests tomorrow, then that doubt disappears and he will most likely play.

Right now, it appears Collins is the more likely to play of the two, but keep an eye on PFN’s up-to-date news to see if the statuses of these two young stars change.

Noah Brown, WR, Texans

The Texans are dealing with all kinds of injury issues, as Tank Dell has already been lost for the year, and Noah Brown is also questionable with a knee injury.

In early November, Brown re-introduced himself to the NFL world with back-to-back games with six catches for 153 yards and seven catches for 172 yards. Since then, he has played in only two games and hasn’t caught any of his seven targets.

Brown has been practicing this week and appears like he is going to be able to go despite being questionable. If he can go, and Collins doesn’t, then he could be the No. 1 receiving option for the Texans.
