The future of Mykhailo Mudryk at Chelsea is uncertain heading into 2025 and Marseille are monitoring the winger’s situation at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues signed the 23-year-old in January 2023 for £88.5m from Shakhtar Donetsk, beating out rival Arsenal. However, Mudryk has struggled to impress since joining Chelsea, with just seven goals and six assists in 63 appearances.
Despite having a contract until 2031, Mudryk’s lack of confidence and struggles to secure a starting spot have cast doubt on his future at Chelsea. Marseille is keeping tabs on his situation as a potential destination.
Marseille interested in Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk
If Chelsea decides to part ways with Mudryk in 2025, Ligue 1 club Marseille is interested in acquiring the winger.
According to TeamTalk, Marseille’s new manager Roberto De Zerbi is keen on reuniting with Mudryk, whom he previously worked with at Shakhtar Donetsk before both moved to the Premier League. De Zerbi is confident in helping Mudryk rediscover his form and potential, while Enzo Maresca is also looking to extract the best from the player during the upcoming season at Chelsea.
