Chris Eubanks has a bit of pressure on him in Miami this year, defending quarterfinal points and coming into this year’s event on a four-match losing streak.
What pressure? Eubanks pulled the miracle of Saturday, when he saved a pair of match points to take out Dan Evans 7-6(3), 3-6, 7-6(7).
Maybe Evans will regret the forehand he hit on the second match point? He had the open court, but elected to hit behind Eubanks, who was there to guide the winner down the line, much to the delight of the Partisan crowd.
