Micah Parsons Responds To Teammate That Called Him Out

Trouble with the Dallas Cowboys is naturally amplified simply because it’s the Cowboys, and they are the focus of much media and fan attention.

Now, a spat between two of the team’s defensive standouts is a cause for concern after safety Malik Hooker went public with his criticism of linebacker Micah Parsons.

MLFootball reported on the verbal altercation between the teammates as the minicamp is over and preparations are underway for the preseason.

Hooker called out the uber-talented Parsons for his focus on his popular podcast, asking, “Are you caring about the crowd that’s watching your podcast? Or caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach”.

Ironically, Hooker made his contentious statement on Keyshawn Johnson’s All Facts No Brakes podcast.

Parsons posted a since-deleted tweet in which he blasted Hooker for making such a fiery public proclamation.

“Just wish you said this to me but instead on some podcast! And you got my number family!”

Parsons blasted his teammate, declaring that such an outburst could have been made “any day” and noting that his own podcast is produced on the team’s off day.

He concluded by ominously declaring that he could “point out a lot of other things but I’m just not.”

It is not a good look when teammates publicly bicker, and there is much pressure in Dallas for a strong 2024 season that will only happen if there is cohesion and teamwork.

Social media is what it is, and many times, that’s a trap that prominent figures too easily fall into and say things they soon regret.
