As speculation swirls around the future of Los Angeles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone has come forward to offer his support amidst rumors of Ham’s potential departure.

Despite the Lakers’ early playoff exit, Malone praised Ham’s coaching abilities and character, emphasizing his belief that Ham deserves to remain with the organization.

Throughout the season, Ham faced scrutiny for his coaching decisions and management of the team, with criticisms surrounding player treatment and accountability.

Despite the challenges, Malone commended Ham for his professionalism and coaching prowess, expressing hope that Ham will continue to lead the Lakers in the seasons to come.

“I think Darvin Ham is a hell of a coach. That’s not an easy job. I think Darvin does it with class. He’s a good man, good coach, and I wish him all the best. Hopefully, he’ll be around there for a long time because he deserves to be,” he said, via Michael Scotto.

As the Lakers evaluate their season and consider potential changes, Ham’s future remains uncertain.
