Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley has joined a growing number of voices, who see similarities between his teammate Anthony Edwards and the legendary Michael Jordan.

Edwards, the former No. 1 draft pick, does not shy away from boasting about his talent and has a killer mentality that is similar to the basketball icon.

“A young Michael Jordan. He’s unbelievable… I think he thinks he’s the best player ever to play the game,” Conley said when asked by Shaquille O’Neal on Insider The NBA who does Edwards remind him of.

Edwards’ averages of 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in 39.5 minutes per game have helped the Wolves sweep the Phoenix Suns in the first-round series. They are now set to face the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets.
