Few teams in the NFL, if any, have had to deal with more internal drama than the Las Vegas Raiders over the past half-decade or so, from Jon Gruden’s scandal to Henry Ruggs’ accident to Derek Carr getting scapegoated to the Josh McDaniels debacle and now the Davante Adams trade saga.

For some reason, the storied franchise hasn’t been able to avoid constant distractions on and off the field, which has carried over into this 2024 NFL season, with everyone waiting to see what happens with Adams.

As if the endless trade speculation surrounding Adams wasn’t bad enough, the Raiders are coming off a blowout loss to the division-rival Denver Broncos in the Mile High City, which resulted in the benching of veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew in favor of second-year player Aidan O’Connell.

The Raiders are seemingly spiraling out of control and in danger of letting this season get out of hand despite only being one game below .500 at 2-3; Las Vegas will host Mike Tomlin’s Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6 at Allegiant Stadium.

Even though the Raiders are in dire straits at the moment, boxing legend Mike Tyson is sporting the three-time Super Bowl champions ahead of this week’s matchup against the Steelers via Vegas Sports Today.

“Raiders No. 1, baby! Raiders, Raiders, Raiders!” Tyson said.

With the Steelers coming off consecutive losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh will be hungry for a win and anxious to bounce back while reclaiming the distinction as one of the best defenses in the league this season.

It’ll be interesting to see how this game pans out, with both teams desperate for a win.
