Mitchell Robinson Leaves Game 3 Early, Departs Arena in Walking Boot

Mitchell Robinson Exited Game 3 Early, Left Arena In Walking Boot

During the New York Knicks’ Game 3 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Mitchell Robinson exited with a sprained left ankle at halftime. Despite initially staying in the game, Robinson was clearly hobbled by the injury and was later seen leaving the arena in a walking boot.

Robinson sustained the injury when Sixers center Joel Embiid fell to the floor while attempting to draw an offensive foul. In the process, Embiid grabbed at Robinson and pulled him down, resulting in the play being deemed a Flagrant 1 foul on Embiid.

Post-game, several Knicks players criticized the play as “dirty” from Embiid. The Knicks will provide an update on Robinson’s status leading up to Game 4 on Sunday.
