Let’s go on a journey. Club soccer is mostly shutdown with Euro 2024 in full swing and Copa América kicking off on Friday. However, MLS continues to play on, which gives us a chance to see up-and-coming USMNT hopefuls. Let’s get to the highlights!

Noel Buck opened the scoring for the New England Revolution against the Vancouver Whitecaps with this blast from long-distance:

Esmir Bajraktarevic added to the Revs’ lead with this deflected shot that looped over the keeper:

Benja Cremaschi took a loose touch in the box, but was able to recover and jab it to Julian Gressel, who hammered it home for Inter Miami against the Philadelphia Union:

Cole Bassett scored the Colorado Rapids’ opening goal against Austin FC with this rising effort from just outside the box:

Brian Gutiérrez of the Chicago Fire played a nice one-two in the box before cutting it way back for Mauricio Pineda, who pinged it in from long range for this goal against Toronto FC:

Lucho Acosta of FC Cincinnati (who doesn’t seem to be USMNT-eligible yet) connected with Yuya Kubo for 3 goals in 9 minutes – Kubo’s hat trick off the bench was astonishing, and Lucho did well to set up all 3 goals against the San Jose Earthquakes:
