NBA Fans React to Draymond Green’s Indefinite Suspension

NBA Fans React to Draymond Green’s Indefinite Suspension

Draymond Green has been suspended from the league indefinitely for his latest violent antics and NBA fans are reacting to the news.

With 8:23 left in the third against the Suns on Tuesday, Green swung his right forearm around with force and hit Nurkic in the head while defending him.

The Warriors forward was ejected and issued a flagrant foul 2 for the incident and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that he is suspended from the league without a return date.

“Draymond Green, Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr., and Green’s agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports are expected to meet Thursday to start discussing a path of counseling and help for Green to move forward, sources said,” Wojnarowski posted on X. “The league didn’t want to put a specific number on the suspension, but allow Green to take the time he might need to deal with challenges he’s facing.”

The best reactions to suspension from NBA fans on X are below.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked about the ejection, but wasn’t willing to discuss it specifically.

“I haven’t seen it. I haven’t seen a replay, so I have no comment on it,” Kerr said.

However, he was happy to speak about how losing Draymond was the worst possible outcome

“It was a huge swing,” Kerr said about losing Green. “We kinda felt good about having him at the five and spreading the floor … thought that could really get Steph some space. … So I felt good about having him out there but lost his poise.

Kerr went on to say how important Green is to the team, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be returning anytime soon.

“Yeah we need him. We need Draymond. He knows that. We’ve talked to him. He’s gotta find a way to keep his poise and be out there for his teammates.”
