NBA Fans Share Thoughts on Celtics Advancing to NBA Finals After Sweeping Pacers

Celtics

The Celtics have advanced to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA world is reacting.

Indiana put up a good fight without their best player Tyrese Haliburton for the last two games, but it wasn’t enough to stop Boston.

The C’s won Game 4 by three points- 105-102 and are heading to their second NBA Finals in two years.

Jaylen Brown beat out teammate Jayson Tatum for Eastern Conference Finals MVP honors.

The best reactions to Boston’s sweep from NBA fans are below.

The Celtics will now face the winner of the Mavericks-Timberwolves series. That series could be decided in much the same fashion, since Dallas are up 3-0.

NBA fans may be facing a long wait to watch the NBA Finals if the Mavs were to also sweep the Wolves, since the Finals aren’t scheduled to start until June 6.

Watching Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum go head-to-head with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic will no doubt be worth the wait though.

To add extra spice, Irving will be going up against his old team the Celtics – who he played two seasons for (2017-18 and 2018-19).
