The past week has been filled with mourning for Minnesota Vikings fans and their players.
2024 draft pick Khyree Jackson was involved in a fatal car accident earlier this week, a difficult time for his family and new teammates.
This accident was incredibly sad for all involved, one that won’t soon be forgotten.
Unfortunately for the Vikings, another one of their players was recently involved in a car-related incident with alcohol as a factor.
According to the LA Daily News, Jordan Addison was recently discovered in a white Rolls-Royce on a Los Angeles Highway “Asleep at the wheel.”
Dov Kleiman also highlighted that Addison was arrested, but released two hours later after a DUI investigation was concluded.

Drunk driving is an offense that teams do not take lightly, especially in the wake of Jackson’s death.
The Vikings haven’t made any major statements about this yet, and it is unclear if Addison will face additional repercussions from the team.
Addison is expected to be the team’s WR 2 behind Justin Jefferson this season but after his second car-related incident in two years, the Vikings might have to evaluate his position on the roster.
With any luck, this arrest could be a gut check for Addison, and he will work diligently moving forward to avoid situations like this.
Young NFL players have a history of getting themselves in precarious situations, and some of them can learn from their mistakes, while others, unfortunately, have a tendency to repeat them throughout their careers.
