Job Purpose: Responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of agents, clients, and other baseball team members to accomplish client-related projects, including statistical analysis, market analysis, contract projection, player education, salary arbitration, marketing, and social media. This position also involves supporting client relationships, internal-team relationships, and account operations. Remote position with preference for Los Angeles, New York, or Tampa based applicants.

Duties:

  • Prepare statistical analyses and create visual elements.
  • Design statistical models and tools for non-technical audience.
  • Gather data, maintain databases, and data systems.
  • Develop and maintain internal reporting systems.
  • Improve automated reporting with new analysis.
  • Resolve data quality issues.
  • Evaluate players at all levels of baseball.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Handle personal matters with discretion.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of databases, SQL, Python, and R.
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools.
  • Experience with web development technologies preferred.
  • Analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to interact with people of all demographics.
