New Putter Range Released by TearDrop – Golf News

TearDrop rolls out all-new putter range - Golf News

TearDrop is rolling out a new range of putters featuring the company’s trademark Roll-Face technology – a unique design that helps get the ball rolling more quickly and avoids the skid and bounce that compromise both accuracy and distance control.

First formed in 1992, TearDrop enjoyed huge success with its putters on the professional tours and were just as popular with amateur golfers on the back of their precision milling and unique Roll-Face technology. The latest range of TearDrop includes three models that look destined to capture the imagination of a whole new generation of golfers.

Boasting an anti-glare black oxide finish, the new range features one blade putter, the TD-1, and two mallet designs, the TD-5 and TD-7.
The TD-1 and TD-5 putters

The TD-1 is a classic, heel-toe weighted blade putter with a crank hosel that has a moderate amount of toe hang and is suitable for the player looking for some level of face rotation. The back flange line and high-definition leading edge alignment aid makes this classic blade a breeze to line up with the hole; while the machined, radial design face with friction grooves produces a smooth, consistent roll.

The TD-5 is an ultra-modern take on the classic small, rounded mallet design. The multi-material construction of steel and aluminium assists in boosting the MOI for added forgiveness. The face-balanced shaft gives minimal amount of toehang and will suit the player looking for a small amount of face rotation whilst the elongated back line and high-definition leading edge alignment makes the TD-5 a breeze to line up with the hole. A machined, radial design face with friction grooves produces a smooth and consistent roll.

The TD-7 is an oversized mallet featuring prominent alignment aids

The TD-7 oversized mallet design is the ultimate in forgiveness and alignment. The multi-material construction of steel and aluminium and winged design assists in boosting the MOI for maximum forgiveness. The face-balanced shaft gives minimal toe hang and suits the golfer looking for a small degree of face rotation. The triple-elongated back lines and high-definition leading edge alignment makes the TD-7 incredibly easy to line up to the hole; while the machined, radial design face with friction grooves produces a smooth and consistent roll all the way to the hole.

All three styles are available in left and right hand options with shaft lengths ranging from 31 and 36 inches. The RRP for each style is £239.99
