Titleist has introduced a new high-end putter to its Scotty Cameron line with the launch of the Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD, a special compact mallet putter featuring a striking bronze finish.
The Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD is crafted from precision-milled 303 stainless steel based on the Super Select GOLO 6 head shape, providing high stability and MOI. It showcases a chromatic bronze finish with asphalt and dirty white accents, along with a black anodized aluminum sole plate. The putter’s topline undergoes manual misting, and the face is hand-buffed before finishing.
A new chain-link face milling technology incorporated into the Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD delivers a tour-inspired feel, combining the softness of deep-milled putters with the consistency and feedback of mid-milled options.
The Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD putter comes with two custom stainless steel sole weights available in 10g, 15g, and 20g increments matched to putter lengths of 33-, 34- and 35-inches. It features a plumber’s neck hosel, paddle-style Full Contact grip, and a stepless steel shaft to complete the setup.
Scotty Cameron commented on the new addition to his line, stating: “The GOLO 6 putter head size has been in play for a couple of years now, and as more tour pros adopt this compact mallet shape, we started experimenting with different neck configurations and finishes based on player feedback. The Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD is a new design incorporating a plumbing neck, our popular but rare chromatic bronze finish, and a new chain-link face milling.”
Titleist’s head of design for putters, Austie Rollinson, remarked: “We receive requests from tour players for different setups using the GOLO 6 head size. After testing a plumbing neck on this rounded, compact mallet, we found that players appreciate the familiar view from address to aid in setup and alignment, as well as the comfortable feel of a trusted neck design. It is a beautiful putter designed to perform at the highest levels of our game.”
Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD putters are now available at select Titleist authorized golf shops as of today [September 27], with a retail price of £729.
