Zach Wilson Makes Big Personal Announcement

The Denver Broncos are still hosting an open competition for the starting quarterback job.

However, it seems like Zach Wilson has already won — sort of.

While his future on the field is still up in the air, his future at home seems all set.

The former New York Jets quarterback took to Instagram to announce his engagement.

It’s nice to see something nice happening to the BYU product.

Wilson went through a lot over the past couple of seasons.

He was literally booed off the field by Jets fans, and just when it seemed like he had finally gotten his legs under him, he struggled again and the team failed to make the playoffs.

The Jets pretty much offloaded him to the Broncos, and they didn’t even pick up his option for his fifth season, which was an easy decision to make, all things considered.

Now, he’s competing with Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix for the QB1 spot on Sean Payton’s team.

And while it seems like Nix is currently leading the race to be their starting signal-caller come Week 1, he’s still young, so there’s always a chance that he’ll end up having another opportunity at some point in the future.

Even if that’s not the case, football might be the last thing on his mind right now.
