Dietmar Hamann, a former Liverpool midfielder, has indicated that Guimaraes might be considering a move. He asserts that the Brazilian player desires to compete at the top level, and the allure of joining prestigious European clubs could prove difficult to resist.

Hamann commented via Chronicle Live: “The top players surely want a chance to participate in the Champions League. While financial compensation is essential, it isn’t the only deciding aspect. Guimaraes is likely receiving a good salary in the North East.”
“However, every player aspires to win either the Champions League or the World Cup. If a player is not in the Champions League, they cannot compete for it, and virtually every Champions League club in England would be keen on Guimaraes should he contemplate a change. The leading clubs in Spain would also be interested.”
“Bruno has the potential to choose his destination based on how much Newcastle would demand for him, but he seems genuinely happy in the North East.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays at least one more season, or even a couple, at Newcastle, even if they fail to secure a Champions League spot.”
