Ever since the Philadelphia Eagles selected Jalen Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he has progressively improved.
Starting with the 2021 season, Hurts has passed for over 3,000 yards in the last three years and led the Eagles to the Super Bowl in 2022.
In 2023, Philly lost in the Wild Card round as Hurts threw the most interceptions and lost the most fumbles in his career during the season.
Despite those setbacks, the NFLPA recently shared on Twitter that the quarterback led all players for officially licensed NFL product sales from March 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024.
There’s a new name at #1 on the #Top50 sales list 💰
Jalen Hurts & former teammate Jason Kelce took the 1 + 2 spots of all officially licensed #NFL products in 2023. Find out who else made significant jumps: https://t.co/nTtZgD35t3. pic.com/5yqNr8f60X

Jason Kelce, the former Eagles center who retired this past offseason, is second on the list.
Kelce’s brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is fourth.
According to the NFLPA, Hurts’ position on the list jumped from fifth in 2022-2023 to first this past year.
Additionally, Jason Kelce’s spot in the pecking order set a record for sales by an offensive lineman and the highest ever for a non-quarterback.
Even though Kansas City has won the past two Super Bowls, it wasn’t enough for Patrick Mahomes (No. 3 on the list) or Travis Kelce to leap past the two Eagles.
San Francisco running back Christian McCaffrey was the highest running back on the list (No. 5) and Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was the only defender in the top ten (No. 9).
Interestingly, Aaron Rodgers made the top six even though he played only four snaps for the New York Jets in 2023.
Rounding out the top ten is Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, who signed a four-year, $140 million extension with the team last week, making his contract the largest ever by a receiver and non-quarterback.
