The NFL is one of the ultimate money-making machines, and as such, the players are going to get a bigger chunk of money for as long as the dollars keep coming in.

Those new streaming deals come with loads of cash, and this being a quarterback’s league, signal-callers will benefit the most.

With that in mind, Rich Eisen asked Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk who could be the first player to average $60 million a year in salary, and he put together quite an interesting list.

First, he chose Dak Prescott, who could leave the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent next offseason or finally sign a contract extension with them.

Jordan Love got the nod next, as he’s reportedly pretty close to getting a contract extension with the Green Bay Packers, and he’s already shown his worth.

Matthew Stafford is reportedly looking to get one final lucrative deal in his career, and the Los Angeles Rams could grant his wish to keep him around for a little longer.

Tua Tagovailoa is also expected to fetch a new deal sooner rather than later, especially after the Miami Dolphins signed Jaylen Waddle.

San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch hinted at giving Brock Purdy a big contract, so he’s another obvious candidate.

CJ Stroud was another potential candidate, even though he’s still years away from getting his first big contract with the Houston Texans.

Josh Allen could benefit from the Buffalo Bills clearing their books, at least when it comes to his own pocket.

Patrick Mahomes already made NFL history with his latest contract, but since he is the best player in the game, the Kansas City Chiefs might be forced to re-do that deal soon.

And finally, we find Lamar Jackson, who went through a lot to get a new deal with the Baltimore Ravens but could always ask for more money after another MVP season.
