NFL World Reacts to Viral Photo of Tommy DeVito’s Agent Sean Stellato Ahead of Monday Night Football

NFL World Reacts to Viral Photo of Tommy DeVito’s Agent Sean Stellato Ahead of Monday Night Football

The New York Giants‘ season hasn’t gone how they wanted, with the team sitting at 4-8 heading into Week 14. However, not everything is negative, as quarterback Tommy DeVito has been exciting to watch.

DeVito’s fame extends beyond the field, with his Italian descent playing a significant role. His agent’s appearance on the sideline ahead of Monday Night Football sparked up more conversations about his Italian background.

NFL World Reacts to Tommy DeVito’s Agent

DeVito was born and raised in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. He attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School before attending Syracuse University. He spent five seasons with Syracuse before transferring to Illinois for his final season.

In college, DeVito played 39 games, passing for 6,516 yards, 43 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. He also ran for 253 yards and 10 touchdowns. His record as a starting quarterback is 15-16.

After his college career, DeVito went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. He signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent, where he went on to make the 53-man roster. He’s played in five games and started three games for the Giants. In those games, he passed for 697 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Prior to joining the NFL, DeVito hired his agent, Sean Stellato. Stellato runs Stellato Sports, a multi-faceted sports representation and marketing agency. Stellato was seen with DeVito before the game, sparking reaction from NFL fans.

“That’s just his twin brother, Timmy DeVito,” said one NFL fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Tommy Cutlets with his agent Sean Side Steps,” said another fan.

One NFL fan said what we were all probably thinking. “Tommy DeVito’s agent looks like a character in an inauthentic, over-the-top mafia movie.”

Later in the game, as the Giants went up 14-10 on the Packers, DeVito’s agent can be seen embarrassing his father celebrating a touchdown.

Who Is DeVito’s Agent?

Stellato attended Salem High School, where he played on the football and basketball teams. He played quarterback for the football team and set multiple records. He went on to attend Marist College, where he was the team’s leading receiver during the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

After his college career, he spent two seasons in the AF2 arena football league. He eventually became a member of the St. Johns Prep football coaching staff in 2006 for a short period of time.

After his football career ended, he became a philanthropist and sports agent. According to Stellato Sports’ website, he negotiated contracts on behalf of a host of NFL players. Some of those NFL stars include Joe Vellano, Alfred Morris, Shaun Draughn, Ryan Allen, Bryan Braman, Tye Smith, and Ryan Delaire.

On top of his NFL negotiations, he has negotiated endorsement deals with NBC Sports, Rolex, Smoothie King, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Harley Davidson Truck.

“Sean is always in my corner and will do whatever it takes to help me with my career on and off the field,” DeVito told The Salem News. “He is the Italian Stallion of sports agents.”

Along with his agent career, he also has a history of writing books. He has written two books, 4th and Long The Odds: My Journey and No Backing Down. He also wrote the kids books Football Magic: Buddy’s New Beginning and Football Magic: A Pirate’s Tale.
