The Chicago Bears could be on the verge of the best season that they have had in recent years.

It all hinges on the abilities of No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams.

Some people are quite high on what he can do in Chicago, especially Nick Wright.

“Caleb Williams can absolutely be the best quarterback in the NFC North,” Wright recently said on First Things First.

That is a bold statement considering what Jared Goff and Jordan Love are currently doing right now.

Goff is coming off of his best season in terms of completion percentage and completions.

He also took the Lions to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in a long time after helping them win the NFC North for the first time.

Jordan Love, in his first full season taking over for Aaron Rodgers, finished second in the league in touchdown passes and took the Packers to within a fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game.

Caleb Williams has a long way to go before anyone can say anything about him being the best quarterback in the division.

Now, he will certainly have the opportunity to try to become that.

The wide receiver core and overall skill group that he has at his disposal are quite good.

Chicago drafted All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze in the first round with Williams and traded for six-time Pro-Bowler Keenan Allen.

Having 1,000-yard wide receiver D.J. Moore should certainly help too.
