The Buffalo Bills enter 2024 with a good news-bad news resume, having won four consecutive AFC East titles and dropped two straight home playoffs games in the divisional round.

And there are many who are hyping either the New York Jets with Aaron Rodgers and certainly a talented lineup around him, or the resurgent Miami Dolphins, who collapsed down the stretch in 2023 but have one of the NFL’s most potent offenses.

But the nod, according to one expert, still goes to the Bills to take the division crown.

Nick Wright declared on “First Things First” that he believes Buffalo will win the East.

He explained, “They have the benefit of clearly playing in the worst division in the conference…and they still have, even though I think he can be overhyped at times, clearly the best QB in the division.”

Wright added that the Bills have the track record of double-digit win seasons, which creates momentum and confidence.

They certainly have a playmaker in Josh Allen, who secured his position as one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

And head coach Sean McDermott has guided Buffalo to the playoffs in six of his first seven seasons running the team.

If Allen can get a handle on his interceptions – he’s thrown the most in the NFL over the last three years – and the defense remains strong, good money will continue to favor the Bills.

As Wright noted, the Jets and Dolphins have yet to prove they are capable of climbing to the top of the East, and until they do, it’s Buffalo’s division to lose.
