Nick Wright Says ‘Zero Percent’ Chance 1 NFL Team Will Be Upset This Weekend

Earlier in the 2023 NFL regular season, the Dallas Cowboys made a statement with a big win over the division-rival Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving Day, with Dak Prescott leading America’s Team to a 35-point victory over Sam Howell and company.

Heading into the team’s regular-season finale against the Commanders on the road at FedExField, the Cowboys have had a rough few weeks, with Mike McCarthy’s squads falling to the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins before barely getting by the Detroit Lions last week.

With the Cowboys showing some distinct flaws over the last few weeks, some have speculated that the team could drop their regular-season finale against a Commanders team with nothing left to lose and will want to end their season on a high note with a win over Dallas.

However, Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes there’s no chance that the Commanders get the last laugh over their division rivals on Sunday in the nation’s capital via First Things First.

“Since week 3, this is the worst team in football.  Worse than Carolina. The last time they played the Cowboys, they lost 45-10. You could maybe convince me that there’s a chance, there’s a chance that the Cowboys spit this one up. Zero percent,” Wright said.

At this point, anything can happen when it comes to the Cowboys, as this team has been painfully inconsistent as of late and may drop the ball right before the NFL playoffs get underway.

All signs point to the Cowboys looking to make another statement against the Commanders before the postseason, with the team favored by nearly two touchdowns to come out on top in this matchup of NFC East division rivals.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Cowboys perform in this game and whether this team is ready to make a deep run in the playoffs.
