Nikola Jokic: Victory Is Our Way of Life

Nikola Jokic: Winning Is A Lifestyle For Us

The Denver Nuggets emerged victorious in Game 3 on Thursday, continuing their dominant performance against the Los Angeles Lakers with an 11-game win streak. The Nuggets are now on the cusp of sweeping the Lakers out of the playoffs for the second year in a row.

“Winning is a lifestyle for us,” remarked Nikola Jokic after the game. “It’s truly gratifying to see the team succeed. When you string together wins, everyone is elated, eager to compete, and fully committed to the system. I experienced the tough times here, and I have no desire to return to them.”

During the first three games of the 2024 NBA playoffs, Jokic has recorded a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 35.0 with averages of 27.7 points, 15.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists.

Jokic is on the brink of securing his third regular season MVP award as the Nuggets strive to defend their championship title.
