Nikola Vucevic: Coby White is really settling into his role

Nikola Vucevic: Coby White is really settling into his role

Here’s Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic praising Coby White’s recent stellar play at point guard (averaging 26.8 PPG/6.4 RPG/5.8 APG/54.2% FG/57.4% 3-PT/89.5% FT in his last five games).

(via Optimistic Bulls Fan):

“He’s been playing great, a lot of confidence. I think he’s really settling into his role. I thought early on he was really trying to kind of balance facilitating, getting himself going, and things like that… and he wasn’t being himself. I’ve felt like as of late he’s just been really aggressive, creating, and just reading the defense, whatever happens. He’s been on fire shooting the three, which is huge for us because we need that. Even just getting to the paint, pick-and-roll, different actions, dishing out passes, either drops to bigs or outside, he’s been very aggressive in finishing at the rim. So he’s been really huge for us, playing great basketball, and very, very happy for him. Hopefully he can continue because it helps us a lot.”
