Novak Djokovic‘s quest for a record-extending 11th Australian Open will begin in just under a month when he will descend on Melbourne Park with a tailored new outfit.
In a recent video promotion released by his footwear sponsor Asics on TikTok, Djokovic is having the time of his life, breaking his character and performing dance moves on a tennis court while holding his newest collection HEAD tennis racket that debuted at the 2023 US Open.
Djokovic is videotaped dancing, having donned a classic white t-shirt from French apparel company Lacoste. The polo has shades of dark blue on the side seams and the collar buttons. The Serbians have also gone with white wristbands and socks.
Djokovic’s shorts will be all blue, which marries the Australian Open color. Unlike last year, where he carried a blue t-shirt and a white one, which he was alternating between the night and day sessions, it is possible that a second kit made for 2024 will be released on a later date.
Djokovic will wear the custom-made Court FF3 NOVAK shoes, which help him swing strongly and move around the court effortlessly. The shoes are blue in color with a white outer and midsole. The ASICS logo is also vibrant and accentuated with white.
Djokovic is preparing for the new season in Dubai with Macedonian tennis player Kalin Ivanovski. He also invited Next Gen star and his countryman Hamad Medjedovic to his preseason block there.
The Serbian ace will travel to Saudi Arabia before his lucrative exhibition match against Carlos Alcaraz. Djokovic’s first tournament of 2024 will be the United Cup, where he will play the mixed-gender competition for the first time and represent Serbia.
Djokovic’s title defense at the Australian Open will kick off on January 12, and there is a possibility he could face his longtime rival Rafael Nadal in the first round.
