In one of the more quiet moves of the offseason in the NFL, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. joined the Miami Dolphins.

The 31-year-old will be entering his 10th career season and is reportedly easing himself back into things.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Miami is placing Beckham on the PUP List to start training camp.

“My understanding is Beckham, 31, is working through minor things and this is part of the plan for easing him back into football,” Pelissero recently wrote on X.

The former LSU Tiger has not played a full season since 2019 when he was in Cleveland.

In fact, he has played just two full seasons out of the nine total that he has played in during his career, so health has been somewhat of an issue for the former Super Bowl champion.

If he can stay healthy, he could help make this Dolphins offense more well-rounded.

Tyreek Hill is the team’s best overall player and most dynamic weapon.

The eight-time Pro-Bowler can stretch the field better than anybody in the game of football.

Miami’s No. 2 wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, has recorded 1,000 yards receiving in three consecutive seasons to start his career.

He can stretch the field almost as well as his fellow running mate can.

Beckham is slated to be the team’s No. 3 wide receiver.

Now, he might not have the speed that he did coming out of LSU a decade ago, but his footwork and hands have always been great assets for him.

Look for him to be a strong contributor for head coach Mike McDaniel, especially if he remains healthy.
