Odell Beckham Jr. was once one of the NFL’s most productive and explosive wide receivers, but two ACL injuries in recent years have robbed him of a good amount of his ability.

He spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens, and he has decided to move on after he signed a one-year deal with them last offseason.

He took to Twitter to clap back at the critics who may feel he hasn’t been quite as good as his numbers suggest.

“But that’s the world we live in. Create the agenda get followers to follow that and have ppl just say the same thing that they see on the internet. One thing I’ve learned is life is all about situations, and not every situation is for everybody. Since then I been doin what I could to the best of the situation I was in, so chillin I kno im straight in Real Life,” he tweeted.

Beckham was originally the No. 12 pick by the New York Giants in 2014, and in each of his first three pro seasons, he surpassed 1,300 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while being named to the Pro Bowl.

He was one of the fastest wideouts in the league, and he was thus a nightmare for opposing defensive backs.

He left to join the Cleveland Browns prior to the 2019 season, but his 2020 campaign was prematurely ended when he tore his ACL in Week 7.

The following season, as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, he reached the Super Bowl, but in that contest, he tore his ACL again before the Rams claimed victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

In 2023, Beckham caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games for the Ravens, and although he isn’t the player he was several years ago, he could still be a nice complementary piece for a team looking to contend.

He’s just 31 years of age, and it will be interesting to see how much interest he attracts across the NFL and which teams could look to sign him.
