The U.S. has led after the first session in seven of the last eight Presidents Cups and 10 of 14 overall in the event’s history.

Here in 2024, the Americans don’t just lead after Thursday four-ball session. They went 5-0 to open up a dominant lead over the International squad. It’s the third time the U.S. has led 5-0 after the first day. It’s just the fifth time in 71 sessions that a team went 5-0.

Now it’s time to look ahead to Friday’s foursomes matches.
