With the 2024 NFL season just around the corner, parting ways with one of the top decision-makers might not be a way to get things started on the right foot.

However, that’s just another one of the many big-time departures from the David Tepper administration in charge of the Carolina Panthers.

According to a report by Mike Florio of NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk, Panthers VP of Player Personnel Adrian Wilson has ‘quietly’ left the team.

The Panthers didn’t even announce this move.

Per Florio, someone noticed he no longer appeared on the team’s website, so they decided to reach out to the organization.

The Panthers confirmed that Wilson would no longer continue in his position, adding that they wouldn’t offer any further comment on the matter.

Notably, Wilson spent just one year on the job, being hired in February 2023.

One of the best safeties of his generation and a member of the Arizona Cardinals Ring of Honor, he pursued a career as a scout after his playing days were over.

He finished the 2022 campaign as their interim co-GM after they let go of Steve Keim, and he was linked with a GM job for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the past as well.
