Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero thought Jalen Suggs brought tremendous defensive intensity during Monday’s 104-94 home win vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers.

(via Bally Sports Florida):

Dante Marchitelli: “Jalen tried to block every shot in the fourth quarter, take us through what you saw. Great job on Donovan Mitchell, what’d you see from him and your entire defensive effort?”

Banchero: “That’s the heart and soul, Jalen. I just told him right here, he a dog. I feel like that’s his game right there that he won for us with his defensive energy, covering for me on my dumb turnovers. Just him being there to cover for everybody, that’s what he do on top of making shots on the other end. You can’t ask for nothing more out of your guard, so just proud of him, and he do everything.”
