Patrick Beverley Exclusively Grants Interviews to Subscribers of His Podcast

Patrick Beverley Refuses To Answer Questions From Reporters Not Subscribed To His Podcast

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley recently made headlines when he refused to allow an ESPN producer to participate in postgame interviews after the Bucks’ season-ending loss to the Indiana Pacers. Beverley’s unusual request came when he asked producer Malinda Adams if she subscribed to his podcast. After learning that she did not, Beverley promptly informed her, “You can’t interview me then.”

During the interview session, when another reporter attempted to ask Beverley a question, the guard insisted that Adams leave the circle altogether. Beverley reiterated that Adams couldn’t join the interview because she hadn’t subscribed to his podcast.

Local reporters noted that Beverley’s behavior is not a one-time occurrence. Since arriving in Milwaukee after the trade deadline, Beverley has reportedly taken a similar stance with others during interview sessions.
