The 2023 season went haywire for the Philadelphia Eagles despite their hot start to the year.

While it looked like the Eagles were the team to beat in the NFC at the beginning of the season, they fizzled out as the year went on.

After their midseason collapse, the Eagles went on to lose their first-round playoff matchup to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

When a team like this underperforms expectations, a lot of offseason changes tend to occur, primarily in the coaching department.

The Eagles kept around Nick Sirianni, their head coach, but they have changed a lot of their supporting staff.

This was put on full display in Adam Schefter’s latest report, which outlined the Eagles’ major changes to their staff.

One such change was to Dom DiSandro, who has changed titles, now becoming the Senior Advisor to the General Manager, as well as the Chief Security Officer and the head of Gameday Coaching Operations.

DiSandro famously got into a tussle in a game during the 2023 season, which was a big reason for his change in position.

Despite being on the field for many years, the Eagles felt it was in their best interest to move DiSandro into a different role moving forward.

With any luck, these changes will hopefully help the Eagles move forward so that they can find greater success next season.

This is still a talented team, and just because they fell early in the playoffs last year doesn’t mean that they can’t get back to the Super Bowl next year.
