The Philadelphia Phillies have been MLB’s best and most consistent organization in 2024.

They have been flirting with a World Series title for years, but this group looks strong, close, and determined to reach the ultimate objective.

If the regular season is any indication, Philadelphia is the favorite to win it all: they boast the best record in the majors at 62-34, and it’s not particularly close.

No other team has reached the 60-win threshold.

As a result of their strong first half, the strength and talent on their roster, and their intention of going all the way, the Phillies are at the top of MLB Network’s most recent Power Rankings.

It would have been very hard to justify any other ranking: Philadelphia is MLB’s gold standard at the moment.

They have an 8.5-game advantage over the second-placed player in their division, the Atlanta Braves, and both their offense and pitching are strong and deep.

With a couple of deadline acquisitions and another bullpen ace, the Phils could be incredibly difficult to stop in a postseason series.

The season is long, and there is a whole half to play plus the playoffs, but the Phillies outlook is among the best in the league at the moment.

The Cleveland Guardians, who boast the best record in the American League and just added star prospect Travis Bazzana to their farm, appear second on MLB Network’s Power Rankings.

The Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers complete the top five, and the surging Houston Astros made the top ten.
