On Saturday night, the Detroit Pistons ended their 28-game losing streak. Alongside this victory, Monty Williams expanded his coaching staff by bringing in Brian Adams.
Brian Adams, formerly an assistant under Doc Rivers with the LA Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers, was hired by Detroit. Adams, who coached in Taipei this season, previously served as the head coach of the G League Clippers from 2018 to 2020.
The addition of Adams comes as Detroit seeks to bolster Williams’ coaching bench, especially with assistant coach Dan Burke being absent for the past month due to personal reasons.
