The cut has been made and the tee times have been announced for the third round of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
Reigning US Open champion Wyndham Clark fired his second straight round of 65 to sit at 14-under after the first two days at TPC Sawgrass. He will be in the final group, alongside one of two men at 10-under, Xander Schauffele at 6:40pm (GMT).
Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is 8-under after the opening two rounds, six back from the overnight leader. He will get his third round underway at 6:10pm (GMT) alongside Canadian Corey Conners.
After leading overnight on day one, 2019 Players Championship winner Rory McIlroy could only manage a second round of 73. The four-time major champion is 6-under, and will play at 5:05pm (GMT) alongside European Ryder Cup team-mate Sepp Straka.
The cut line came at 1-under-par, with 73 players making it through to the weekend’s action in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Big names, including Max Homa, Rickie Fowler, Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland and Patrick Cantlay, only just made the cut.
