Players Vote Michael Jordan as Greatest of All Time over LeBron James

TalkBasket

In a recent poll conducted by The Athletic among NBA players, Michael Jordan narrowly retained his title as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), but LeBron James is closing the gap.

According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick and Josh Robbins, Jordan’s lead over James in the GOAT debate has diminished significantly in recent years, with the gap now standing at just 3.8 percent.

The poll, which interviewed 142 NBA players, reflects a shifting perspective among current players regarding the greatest player in basketball history.

While Jordan has long been regarded as the GOAT, James’ remarkable achievements and longevity in the league are gradually influencing players’ views on the matter.

The diminishing gap between Jordan and James highlights the ongoing evolution of the NBA and the changing perspectives of younger generations of players.
