Since his trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Los Angeles Clippers, P.J. Tucker faces a diminished role, leading to frustration for the veteran forward.

Acquired alongside James Harden and Filip Petrusev, Tucker’s role change has sparked discussions about his future with the Clippers.

Despite averaging 22 minutes per game with the Sixers, Tucker’s playing time has dwindled to just 14.4 minutes per game since joining the Clippers.

Following reports of Tucker’s discontent, Marc Stein noted on his Substack that playoff contenders are closely monitoring the situation: “Various playoff contenders have taken note of the very limited minutes P.J. Tucker is getting since he was dealt to the LA Clippers as part of the James Harden trade and are waiting (hoping?) that Tucker is made available this winter.”
