The police are continuing to investigate after Strahinja Jokic, Nuggets star Nikola Jokic’s older brother, punched a fan in the face at Ball Arena on Monday night.
“A spokesperson for the Denver Police Dept. said on Thursday morning they’ve “been in communication” with the fan who Strahinja socked after Game 2 of the Lakers vs. Nuggets game at Ball Arena on Monday night,” TMZ reported.
Video of the incident went completely viral on social media, as Strahinja clocked the fan square in the face.

The police spokesperson wouldn’t reveal whether or not the victim is planning on pressing charges.
“At this point,” the spokesperson said, “the investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
Jokic’s brothers have had somewhat of a marred history at NBA games.
In 2021, Strahinja and Jokic’s other brother Nemanja threatened Heat forward Markieff Morris after Jokic was suspended for shoving him.
“@MookMorris2 You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother!Your brother made a dirty play first . If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers,” they wrote on Twitter.
Before that, Strahinja was arrested for allegedly choking and pushing a woman during a domestic dispute in 2019.
Court records show Strahinja pleaded guilty in February 2020 to a misdemeanor count of obstruction of phone service and felony trespassing, and the remaining charges were dismissed.
It is unclear what kind of punishment will be dealt to Jokic’s brother by the NBA as the police investigation continues.
