Manchester United Optimistic About Benjamin Sesko’s Injury Status
Manchester United is hopeful that Benjamin Sesko has not sustained a serious knee injury after his substitution during the recent 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, according to ESPN sources.
The 22-year-old forward has opted out of representing Slovenia in the upcoming international matches and will remain in Manchester for further evaluation.
Sesko will undergo additional tests on the knee issue he developed at Tottenham’s stadium on Saturday.
Club officials are eager to obtain a clearer understanding of the injury before their next Premier League match against Everton at Old Trafford on November 24.
After the match, Sesko was observed walking with a noticeable limp; however, there is confidence within the club that he will not face a lengthy absence.

In another development, Manchester United has granted defender Lisandro Martínez permission to join the Argentina national team despite his absence from competitive play since February. The 27-year-old has started training again with United but has yet to play in a match.
He will be with the Argentina squad during the international break, although he will not be available for any games. A staff member from United will accompany Martínez to track his recovery process.
