The United States Women’s National Team are back for another international window, taking on South Korea this afternoon in the Denver area. The USWNT will be playing their first matches with new head coach Emma Hayes on the sidelines, which has generated a ton of excitement from fans who are looking to see how the team performs just a month and a half from the Olympics.
They take on a South Korea team that is always a formidable opponent and who will be looking to spoil Emma Hayes’ USWNT debut.
Before the USWNT take the field the U.S. Deaf Women’s National Team will take the field as part of a historic doubleheader. They will play Australia in their first match since winning the 2023 World Deaf Football Championships in Malaysia last fall. An amazing 37-0-1 in 38 all-time matches, with the one “draw” coming via a win on penalties to Poland in the 2022 Deaflympics Final, the team is ready to embrace the moment on this national stage. It’s the first US Soccer-controlled Extended National Team match to be televised, and the team hopes to open a ton of doors with their play.
It’s a doubleheader of soccer to keep you entertained today, so lock in!
