We’ve had many rumours about Alexander Isak and Chelsea, with contacts taking place with Newcastle. Chelsea are aware of the situation with the Swedish striker, but they consider him too expensive. Newcastle is asking for crazy money for Isak, and they are considering offering him a new deal. Eddie Howe and the owners want him to stay at the club, so at the moment there is no movement on that front. Isak has expressed his desire to continue at Newcastle.
Chelsea, however, have informed Barcelona of their intention to trigger the release clause of Marc Guiu. They have an agreement with the player, and the deal is expected to go through soon. Chelsea’s intention is to have Guiu as part of the first-team squad under Enzo Maresca.
Victor Osimhen is another striker in the spotlight, but at the moment, there is not much movement on his potential transfer. Napoli are tough negotiators, but the expectation is that Osimhen will leave this summer.
