The USWNT will hit the road again this year, taking on a couple of strong teams and beating them. It will signify the strength of the USWNT has returned, beating some very strong teams in their own buildings.

The USWNT will do enough to leap past Spain and reclaim the #1 ranking in the world by the end of the year. A W Gold Cup title and the silver medal at the Olympics will get them close, and the fall slate of matches will be enough to get them back to the top of the table.

They are going up against Brazil and a joint bid between Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. The United States & Mexico may be the favorites, but Brazil will upset everyone and be selected as the hosts when FIFA votes on May 17th.
