Ayaka Furue secured her first major championship victory in grand fashion, closing the tournament with three birdies and an eagle in the last five holes to win the Amundi Evian Championship.

With this victory, Furue earned a substantial $1.2 million, pushing her season earnings to $2,444,717. The 24-year-old golfer now boasts a total career earnings of $5,039,882.

Although Australia’s Stephanie Kyriacou fell just short of victory, she still secured a solo second spot, earning $752,439.

American player Lauren Coughlin also had an impressive showing, tying for third at the Chevron Championship and claiming fourth place at the Evian event. These finishes combined earned her over $850,000 in just two starts, nearly double what she made throughout the entire previous season.
