Pro Bowl Steelers Player Doesn’t Hold Back Criticism of Hard Knocks Show

Steelers All-Pro Doesn't Hold Back His Thoughts About Hard Knocks Show

For more than two decades, HBO’s Hard Knocks has given the fans an inside look at what goes on in the trenches.

They get to watch the players be emotional in the locker room, coaches do their thing on the sidelines, practices, and now, even some of the decision-making processes in the offseason.

Needless to say, more often than not, the fans have loved every single second of that.

However, some players don’t feel the same way.

Notably, that’s the case with Pittsburgh Steelers star Cam Heyward.

Recently, when asked his thoughts about the AFC North being featured on Hard Knocks, the veteran DT simply hated the idea of it:

Heyward believes having the camera there will violate the sanctity of a team’s locker room.

He claimed that there are so many inside jokes and things going on that it just wouldn’t feel right, adding that they’re constantly talking smack and joking around, and some people might not like what they hear in that locker room.

It’s a complicated day and age to say some things, especially on the record, so that might be a bit of a valid concern.

Fortunately for Cam Heyward and his teammates, they’ll share the spotlight with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals.

At the end of the day, football is entertainment first and foremost, and with Hard Knocks getting more and more fans by the year, it seems like the players and coaches will just have to deal with it.
