Aris Midea Thessaloniki (GBL) landed 26-year old American 197cm shooting guard Rawle Alkins (college: Arizona). Alkins played this summer at Ponce in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 7 games just recently he averaged 7.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.6apg. The last season he played at Ironi Nes Ziona in Israeli Winner League where in 32 games he had very impressive stats: 15.5ppg, 5.9rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Second Team.
He is a very experienced player. Alkins has played also professionally in Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg and 46ers), Portugal (FC Porto), NBA (Chicago Bulls), NBA G League (SLC Stars, Raptors 905 Mississauga, Windy City Bulls and Erie BH) and NBA Summer League (Houston Rockets). His team won Pac-12 Tournament in 2017 and 2018.
He was selected to All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention back in 2018.
Alkins graduated from University of Arizona in 2018 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
