ASP Promitheas Patras (GBL) signed 27-year old American forward Jordon Varnado (198cm-107kg-1997, college: Troy) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Varnado played last season at Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia in Italian Serie A. In 24 games he had 14.1ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.6apg.
The previous (2023) summer he played at UnderDawgs in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he recorded 12.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.0spg and 2.0bpg in 2023 year.
He has played also professionally in Hungary (Kormend), Poland (GTK) and The Basketball Tournament (Jackson UD).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Italian Serie A2 Silver championship title in 2023. Varnado was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Import Player of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from Troy University in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
