Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) tabbed 28-year old American (has also North Macedonian passport) 208cm power forward Ethan Happ (college: Wisconsin) for new season. Happ is a well-known player in Spanish Liga Endesa as he played most recently at Gran Canaria (Liga Endesa). In 36 games he averaged 12.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times). Happ also played 17 games in Eurocup where he had 9.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.6spg.
He was also selected to Big Ten All-Defensive Team back in 2016 and 2017.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Breogan Lugo. In 34 Liga Endesa games he recorded 12.6ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg in that year. A very impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times) and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Third Team. He also played 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he got 14 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists in that year. He was called to North Macedonian Senior National Team this year.
Happ is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Greece, Italy (Fortitudo Flat Service Bologna, Sassari and Cremona) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Hines).
His college team made it to the Gomelsky Cup final in 2020.
Happ graduated from University of Wisconsin in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. He was also selected to Big Ten All-Defensive Team back in 2016 and 2017.
